Introducing the Forgiveness Exercise: Liberating Your Heart!
1.) Number of Questions: 4
2.) Estimated Time: It takes approximately 12 minutes to complete the journaling exercise.
3.) Context: This exercise is a transformative journey towards forgiveness—a pathway to release emotional burdens and find freedom from lingering pain. Dive deep within yourself to forgive those who caused you hurt, including yourself.
4.) Benefits: Forgiveness is a powerful tool for healing and personal growth. This exercise is your opportunity to confront and release the pain that has been lingering in your mind and heart. Whether it’s forgiving someone else or forgiving yourself, this journey will help you unburden your heart and find a way forward.
5.) Consistent Practice: This exercise is not just about answering questions; it’s a directive for emotional release. It guides you through a visualization exercise aimed at forgiveness. By acknowledging the pain, empathizing with the person who caused it, and saying “I forgive you,” you’re taking a step towards unshackling yourself from the grip of past hurts.
As you repeat this practice, you’re creating space within yourself to release the emotional hold this pain has on you. Continue until you sense a shift in the emotional charge connected to this person. By doing so, you’re allowing yourself to move forward unburdened and with newfound freedom.
When you’re ready, proceed to the next question to engage in the visualization exercise. Your path of forgiveness begins now.

This response will be awarded full points automatically, but it can be reviewed and adjusted after submission.
This is not a question, but a directive.
Now close your eyes, and visualize this person. Visualize them in the pain they caused you, and visualize them in their own suffering which caused your pain. With your awareness in your heart, as you visualize them, keep repeating “I forgive you”. Feel empathy for them and yourself as you do this exercise. Do this practice until the emotional hold on you when visualizing this person begins to lose its power. Type in “Done” when you are complete.
