Many times as men we get caught in our heads, and make stories about, misinterpret, or completely omit another person’s energy or felt experience. Being able to connect with another person’s felt experience is essential to having deep and quality relationships with others, being more trusting and being on the same page. This is especially true with women, more so with women you experience intimacy with, but also applies to colleagues and friends.
This is a practice of getting out of your head and into your body. Stopping the analytical mind and feeling another through. This is where the truth lies for them, and your ability to see them in all their truth.
I ask you to have a conversation with someone, especially if it is a potential romantic partner or a romantic partner, but a colleague is just fine, and be still, use our communication technique from the first 3 modules, then from your body, feel them through, while verbally leading them deeper into their emotions. Forget what you thought you knew and allow their feelings and expression of their feelings to guide you to the deeper truth.
